Recommend visit. Easy 50k ride or taxi from Ninh Binh. Helpful staff at entry point.Guide to numerous types of monkey rescue and turtle hatchery. Both worth the visit. Good hiking trail 6-8k to see prehistoric cave and ancient tree. Quite a few steps but easy trail.
This place is wonderful for nature lover and hiker. The national park is well managed, tidy and safe for tourists to explore the diverse flora and fauna. There are numerous hiking trails to choose. The park is enclosed and guarded so that it is safe to freely wander the forest
Entrance 60 k. Trash everywhere but the park is beautiful. No clear trails. This park is best visited by a bike or cars. Not much for hikers.
Beautiful, quiet park. A bit far from town, and the park is 20 km deep on narrow roads, so visitors should plan on making a half or full day trip. I especially enjoyed the monkey and turtle tour, which is well woth the extra ticket fee of 30,000 Dong including a mandatory guide. The guide was excellent, so knowledgeable and helpful.
It is a beautiful, quiet and green forest spread over a large tract of land. The biggest attraction in the National Park are some really old trees, some older than 1500 years. Treking in the jungle is fun, especially for families with young kids. Good place to spend a day. Entrance fee is also reasonable: 60,000 VND for adults and 10,000 for kids.
