Mukuvisi Woodlands, Harare Reviews

  • This place has wonderful horse safaris. It takes an hour, and you really get to see the animals up close, such as zebras and giraffes. A lovely activity to do on your own with just the guide, or with friends or family. Highly recommended

  • Nice, relaxed place on the edge of town but easy to find. Pleasant way to spend 3-4 hours, with a combination of walking along woodland footpaths, animal spotting along the way and from the viewing platform (2pm best time to see giraffe, zebra when we were there) and a light lunch (burgers, sandwiches etc) in the cafe. Very helpful staff at front reception. Entry fee was $6 for viewing + walks.

  • Very nice and friendly team. Nice place to spend as a family. We will definitely be going back!

  • Mukuvisi Woodlands in the cool morning after the rains was excellent. The river was up, and mushrooms are now growing - just been waiting for the wet weather! Also got glimpses of zebra and impalas. Great 5km walk with my dogs.

  • Good park to go with kids and family and enjoy wildlife without going far from the Harare CBD. Lots of activities available including horse riding, and wildlife viewing
