National Botanic Gardens - Review

The National Botanic Gardens are the pride and joy of Harare. This sprawling slice of nature plays host to a variety of vegetation that thrives in the climate of Zimbabwe. The sheer types and range of flora that you’ll see growing within these 58 hectares that form the garden is nothing short of wondrous. Though the majority of plants there are from Zimbabwe and a few parts of South Africa, there are parts of the premises that are allotted to plants from different regions of the world like Asia, South America and the Far East countries.

  • I loved being here. It's a serene place. if you're looking for a peaceful, quite place just to escape from your busy lifestyle, this is the place to be. They could do more work on the plants, trees and lawn, though.

  • A stunning place full of greenery and flowers pleasant to sight. It has awesome views that can mesmerise any city dweller of the beauty nature can offer when cultured gracefully in an urban environment. It is a must see place for every nature lover and is the perfect place to host anytime events.

  • Good grassy areas. I did not see a green house or any non-native plants. The cost to get in is relativley high. I'm glad that I could my dog.

  • First time being there but it looked okay though it can be even much better

  • Sunset at Harare's National Botanic Gardens seen through a seasoned Flat Top Acacias so nice to see a steal a kiss from my lover. A copy of the gardens plan just so you don't get too lost.
