National Botanic Gardens - Review
The National Botanic Gardens are the pride and joy of Harare. This sprawling slice of nature plays host to a variety of vegetation that thrives in the climate of Zimbabwe. The sheer types and range of flora that you’ll see growing within these 58 hectares that form the garden is nothing short of wondrous. Though the majority of plants there are from Zimbabwe and a few parts of South Africa, there are parts of the premises that are allotted to plants from different regions of the world like Asia, South America and the Far East countries.

National Botanic Gardens, Harare Reviews
Area is large and densely populated by a variety of plant life and animals. Entry into the garden is cheap. Due to time and other elements the it is now rundown and a bit overgrown. The serene environment makes various activities a dream come true like painting. picnics and social events
This place must have been spectacular 20-30 years ago. Now it is kind of run down and overgrown, but the variety of plants is a botanist's dream. Entry is cheap. We were the only visitors there. Take a plant guy there. He'll be in heaven.
Free open space to explore, have a picnic and learn about plants
Great little afternoon. Quite well kept and cheap as chips.
Great place to have a picnic and also fun for a ride around the gardens. Entrance is just $2 and parking is $1
