Siberian Tiger Park - Review
Built to save one of the most majestic and ferocious species’, the Siberian tigers, this 355 acre park is the largest in the world. Unlike zoos, the park doesn’t cage the animals, instead they are set free and a caged, well protected path for the visitors is created. There are about 500 pure bred Siberian tigers in here along with white tigers, lions, lynx, leopard, black pumas as well as some Bengali tigers. Here you can view the animals as they would be in their natural habitat. It’s not every day that you get to watch tigers hunt for food, their fights or even their leisurely stroll. The park is divided into parts such as the Mature tiger area, the Young tiger area, the King tiger area and the walking and feeding platforms where you can feed chicken, beef or goat to them.

Siberian Tiger Park, Harbin Reviews
Highly recommended. I had never seen a live feeding so it was quite something, at one point the larger of the pack actually pulled a cows head right off. The tigers look healthier than others I have seen. Ideally I would like to have held some animals through the cage while they were mauled, maybe the staff could integrate this into the tour. All in all a delightful experience, fun for all the family.
The tigers are kept in relatively good condition and they all look healthy and comfortable. However, there are times when the buses would bump into the tigers on purpose to get them to stay away. There is also live-feeding of chickens, which I understand is necessary and a part of nature but is still difficult to look at.
This was great I bought a cow and a chicken and my five year old daughter fed them to the Tigers a real gem can't wait to go back. We also went to unit 731 and seen what those Japanese tinkers got up to during the occupation of Manchuria great stuff
Tiger park is well maintained and tigers are well taken cared of. Never gotten so close to tigers before. Paid RMB 110 for entrance fees which includes a bus ride around the park. Do note that mid way through the bus ride, the bus driver would ask if the visitors would like to see live chicken being fed to the tigers. If majority agrees, he will start collecting RMB 20 from each adult to see how many chickens can be purchased with the collected amount. Afterwhich, he will communcate with the vehicle carrying the live chickens to meet in front of the bus via walkie-talkie. Chicken feathers and blood can be seen in paches around the park.
To see the Siberian tigers was wonderful but there were other aspects of the park that were not as wonderful. You are put on a bus with bars and drive into the areas where the tigers and lions roam free and are fed live chickens or goats as you watch. The Siberian tigers are segregated based on age so mainly get to see the larger adult tigers roaming freely and the younger tigers in a smaller area. The sad part of the park were the cross breeding of Indian tigers with lions to produce ligers, black panthers in small cage sitting on cardboard, and other exotic large cats kept in small cages or pens.
