Within 54 acres of Texas Ebony forestry, the Hugh Ramsey Nature Park sprawls along the Arryo Colorado and features a number of gardens, nature trails and biodiversity. Often acting as the planned “getaway” to the World Birding Center, the Hugh Ramsey Nature Park is laden with Texas Ebony, Honey Mesquite, Acacia, Desert Hackberry and Retama. While entering the Hugh Ramsey Nature Park, you will notice the Butterfly Garden through which the extensive trails meander about while being interconnected. The trail along the river is the most scenic one and has reedbeds lining the creek.
