Nestled in the Washburn valley west of Harrogate, Fewston Reservoir was built in 1875 and is managed by Yorkshire Water. There are permitted tracks dedicated to cyclists and horse riders, and the place is frequented by runners and walkers. The walk around the reservoir is popular for providing great views and facilities. The rich and varied colors in the area are best experienced during summers. Geese and goslings can also be spotted in the reservoir.
