Bush Babies Monkey Sanctuary, Hartbeespoort Reviews - Write a Review
This sanctuary was well worth a visit. We got there near feeding time and saw lots of animals. The pick pocketing that is now instinctive in some of these rescued monkeys is very entertaining if sad. It wasn't cheap but the money is going to offer a safe home to these animals so worth it.
Goodson was an absolute star, he always makes the visits so worthwhile - we have taken all our friends there & they have all loved it!!
This is a great place for the kids. The tour is on elevated walkway and suspension bridges. The monkeys are fed near the bridge, so it is hard to escape them. If you have some time to kill, this is not a bad place to visit.
Had an incredible time at Bushbabies! Staff is extremely friendly, and the park offers many experiences with these primates! Some of the monkeys are a bit grumpy, but some are very social. They will jump on your head, check your hair for bugs, and try to steal things from your pockets (so leave your things in the lockers at the entrance!)
Lovely place - interactive monkey experience. Great for locals and tourists alike.
