De Wildt Cheetah And Wildlife Centre - Review
Originally known a Cheetah and Wildlife centre, it was renamed in the memory of Ann van Dyk- the pioneer who dedicated her life to conservation of rare and endangered species in South Africa. She also received a gold medal from the South African Nature foundation for her contribution towards captive breeding of cheetah in 1988.
The centre offers captive breeding facility to cheetahs and other animals found in the foothills of Magaliesberg mountain ranges. The centre also actively works for other rare and endangered species like wild dog, brown Hyena, Suni, Duiker, Cape vulture and Riverine Rabbit.
There are many programs designed for the visitors including animal feeding, touch experience and safaris. The children under 12 years of age are not allowed for some of the tours but can participate in the family tours.

A must visit for wildlife enthusiasts with limited time available. Family friendly environment with special acticities like wild dog feeding, cheetah interaction and cheetah run. The work Ann has done over the years is continuing to bear fruit.
Lovely experience visiting the rehab and conservation center. Informative guide and a place doing good work for SA! Would of Liked to have a nice place for a coffee/refreshment at the end
Well trained guide, but place not in good condition, animals fed to attrack visitors to take photos.. not worth R340 per person
