Harties Aerial Cable Way, Hartbeespoort Reviews

  • A must see. Lovely restaurants when you get to the top of the mountain so bring your purse/wallet along. Great ride up the mountain in a cable car. Beautiful views of Hartbeespoort from the top of the mountain. Truly beautiful experience. Definite fun times going up and down the mountain. Friendly staff too. Impressed

  • Well maintained (and brand new) cable car. Everything neat and clean. Enjoyable walk on mountain with interesting viewpoints offering relevant information. Excellent black Americano ordered. Restaurant needed attention by cleaners. They were not busy but there was sugar and other mess on various tables.

  • It's the first time in 30 years I've been up the mountain. Since the revamp, which was some time ago, there are restaurants now, curio shop and an adventure booking office of things to do in the region. Building is maintained well and all staff are friendly. The new cable cars are like state of the art too. Very informative boards and informational titbits. Well worth the price.

  • The view from atop the mountain is spectacular if you choose your day wisely! The service and quality of the carts is well kept and the travel up is, and feels safe! Food and patron service is good and satisfying! Prepare yourself for a fun filled day in nature!

  • It's really nice. The view is incredible, staff is friendly, facilities are well maintained. My only deterrent is the price (R200 per adult) with not much to do on top except walk around and pay more to go to a restaurant. All around good experience, but in this case I have to factor in the entry price.
