Harties Aerial Cable Way, Hartbeespoort Reviews
It's really fun and worth it. Lovely view when you at the top. Little bumpy ride at some places but interesting. Plenty places to eat. And the gift shop has plenty nice gifts.
A fun afternoon on Easter Sunday with the family with a great view, the restaurant on the top serves good food and the drinks at the bar are great, and both are very decently priced! The prices to ride the cable cart isn't too bad either, there's free parking close to the ticket office. There's a restaurant and shops both on top of the mountain and below. The walk on the mountain isn't very long, and has just breathtaking views, so it's very enjoyable to do with the whole family. Definitely a outing worth doing!!
It was nice experience, the cable way look good and new. View from the cable car was very beautiful. View point on the top of the mountain very nice. And there are a lot of desks with inscription about objects which you can see from there. It's interesting.
A excellent place to visit if you like nature. Views from the mountain stretches to Randburg where you can clearly see the Dome. Nice cemented walkways with signs giving interesting facts of what you see. You can see South towards Johannesburg and North over Brits towards Pilaansberg game reserve. Food is good, with a pizza kiosk halfway along the circular cement path. At the cable car station deck on top of the mountain there is a beautiful bar that is properly stocked. Cable car ride is R 200 per adult. Take your binoculars, hat and sunscreen and enjoy the beautiful views.
Great place to visit. A definite must see but a complete rip off. Its only half an hour up there unless you have something to eat which is also expensive. Did it once but never again. There is better value outings in hartbeespoort! They not worried about the south african market. Cater more to international tourists and their fat wallets. People less well of will never be able to see this gem cause of their stupid bottom lines! wasn't even busy when we went. Lower the prices and they'll have more customers lower margins but higher profits!
