Al Carbon, Havana Reviews
A breath of fresh air in Havana. Super food really great service (I speak Spanish so that may help with friendliness) and great ambience. We went twice and have recommend it to other friends going. Price a little higher than other joints, but for what I got, No complaints from me.
The vegetables were so tasty. The chicken, black beans, bread were worth a 3rd visit. The Coffee was fierce. I had some of the best coffee in Cuba. This gem since across from the main Museums in Cuba
Good food, however, they said they had a special drink that they mixed for two people and we agreed. Partly my fault for not asking the price, but I would never expect a drink to cost $20 to serve two people. That’s definitely a stretch.
A place I loved! This restaurant is beside Ivan Chef Justo, so you can go one or the other, I like the rice and chicken. It would be really helpfull if you make a reservation. If you're in Cuba it is better for you to call. If you're a tourist, find a trustworthy Cuba to make your reservations. If you're planning your trip, I recommend you to use (alamesacuba dot com) to get tables in good restaurants. Most of the time get a table in really good restaurants is hard, especially in the high season.
The food tasted good (not the best we had in Havana) but the service was HORRIBLE. For the prices they are charging I would expect way better service and instead we just got attitude. So many other restaurants in Havana where you will get the same quality food, if not better, at a lower price, and excellent service.
