If you are a Beatles fan (which is everybody in the world) and have always thought John Lennon died way before his time and you would have loved to have meet him, you can sort of do that at Parque Lennon in Havana.
The Park has everything a park has to offer, a refreshing green area, shady trees and the whole nine yards but it also has Lennon. Through this bizarre statue, Lennon permanently sits on a park bench in this place gazing wondrously at something.
You can sit beside him and be the object of his interest. A great photo opportunity and a fun tourist attraction, this place is certainly worth a visit in the Vedado district of Havana.

Lennon in Havana, very surreal, human size statue of him sitting on a bech in a quaint park.
More important than the Lennon statue, the park borders a number of old mansions and is a magnet for all the old 50's taxis - good for photo ops.
if you want a photo, the park guard guy, put the glasses on lennon :)
Good statue is all that can be said about this park. Not much else around. Someone can capitalise on having a cafe around here perhaps some Beatles memorabilia and they'd take it in. Took a few selfies with John albeit without his glasses. 😘
It's an iconic place, honoring one of the greatest person of 20th century and music in general. Beautiful park
