The Plaza de la Catedral right outside Havana Catedral is a nice place to spend an afternoon or two in. even if you aren’t religious and don’t want to visit the church, do make it a point to see this lovely square.
If you think about it, other than the gorgeous baroque façade of the church there is nothing very special about the place as such. But visiting the plaza is more about the feel of it than the sightseeing. Even in the midst of the city it is a quiet place to relax.
So whether you take a walk around it, or have a drink at one of the various bars and cafes around, the delicious atmosphere of the place is worth taking in. It has an old worldly charm to it that makes it really memorable and remarkable.

Plaza De La Catedral Reviews & Ratings
Very lively square, one of the more popular ones in Old Havana with a giant cathedral in the middle. There are many shops and restaurants around this area so it is a must visit if you are in Havana! Be respectful when visiting the cathedral, no short shorts/pants, must be below the knee and shoulders must be covered!
