Haverstraw Bay Park Reviews & Ratings

  • Scenic park along the Hudson River at its’ widest point, Haverstraw Bay. Very nice waterfront view complete with boats and the blue water. Perfect place for a picnic with two playgrounds and one swing set for the kids. Also very nice and quiet 9/11 memorial. Park could use better staff, though

  • Beautiful. Would recommend for family picnics and barbecues. This place has a magnificent view, with a nice open sky. Nice for fishing and boating.. maybe jet skiing. Theres a nice park there too for the kids. Lots of parking space, with handicapped parking for easy access. There are bathrooms too. The only con here is that the staff are very punctual with closing time.

  • What a gem in Rockland county! Grounds are well maintained. Boat launch is in excellent shape, and launch dock look like they were replaced this year.

  • Great park for the little ones to burn off lots of steam. Lots of slides, swings and benches (for the parents). The ground is padded and there's plenty of room to run around. The park sits along an awesome waterfront so the view is beautiful also. The only drawback is that scooters, skateboards, etc. (items with wheels) are not allowed to be used in the park.

  • This is a beautiful place to take pictures for prom or even a wedding. However, you must arrive early by 4pm if you want to take prom pictures in peace. By 5pm it is too late and the crowd is huge!!!!!
