This Anglian parish church has been through many transformations since its creation. The original church was built in mid-sixteenth century and was in use for some decades. It was then used as a school for almost a century. Church of St Mary was finally rebuilt in 1884. Though it has undergone a few repairs since then, it has succeeded in maintaining the old charm.
