Cool River Tubing is your place to have a blast. Located near the Chattahoochee River, this place offers you tubing trips down the tranquil river. You can avail any of the two trips - the one hour float or the two hour float trip. You can also opt for all-day pass at minimal charges. The slide down the river in a tube is pretty exciting and sets your heart pumping faster. Remember to take the ‘push-stick’ in case the river water is running low. The activity is absolutely safe for kids aged 6 and above. The river being surrounded by greenery makes you feel closer to nature. A perfect place to unwind yourself, visit Cool River Tubing with your dear ones over a weekend.

  • The service is great, as great as their competitor, Helen Tubing. The great difference is that Helen Tubing is more affordable. They charge 5 dollars for the short tubing trip and Cool River charges 8 dollars, and if you pay Cool River with a card, they add a fee. Make sure you have cash handy if you are going to get their services.

  • We go every year and love it! I've never personally tried the other company with pink tubes but I probably won't because this place is so good . I really like that they hold on to your car keys for free. Also parking fills up quick so get there early! I see little kids like 2 and under go and I was stupid enough to do it years ago with my toddler daughter but the older me, now when I see parents do it I cringe a little . Mostly because I can't believe I was dumb enough to do but man just imagine if your tube flipped over with that baby! Anyway that's just my two cents , it's a fun summer activity and Hellen is a beautiful little town .

  • It’s a great place to take out some downtime for yourself and get relaxed on the flowing water. Its typically amazing during summer as they open the water rides and allow people to flow across the city. There are two types of tubing where in you either choose one hour ride or two hour ride. It’s not necessary to wear swimsuit but shorts are preferable as you might get water inside your tubes while crossing the uneven surfaces and due to high waves. You may have to push your tube every now and then to get your tube out from uneven rocks. The whole sight of nature is just spectacular, you would hear music from the restaurants adjacent to the trail of water and people picnicking with their families around it.Make sure you take the wooden stick which will help you to push your tube.everything is very good except they need to have a bigger restroom as it gets very messy and crowded during peek season.Restrooms should be well Maintained.

  • My friends and I have used Cool River Tubing everytime we go down the river in Helen. It's typically crowded in the summer, but if you can get there during the late spring or early fall when it's still Georgia hot outside, it's not too bad, especially before noon. Parking and shuttle to the put in are free as well as the tethers if you want to float together with someone. They charge way too much for "sticks" that you are expected to return, but I do recommend you bring something to help you push off rocks to avoid getting stuck. On our last visit, when we got back from our trip, the showers were closed and we had to go upstairs. Showers should stay open until the entire facility closes.

  • Me and my family love coming here! It is so fun and a great pass time with the family. I literally had a time that I begged my boyfriend every weekend to drive up to Helen to come tubing for a good 4 weeks lol Definitely a must if you’re in Helen.
