The state Capitol Building of Montana is the house of the State Legislature. The majestic building is constructed by Montana Sandstone and Granite and boasts of a Greek Neoclassical Architecture Style. The exterior of the Dome is covered with Copper. Atop the Dome, the female figurine “Lady Liberty” is located. At the interior of the building, the massive Rotunda with four circular paintings catches the eyes. The State Law Library currently acts as the committee rooms consisting of ten Montana landscapes. The House of Representatives also displays six paintings. The 25-feet long and 12-feet high painting by Charles Russell is most impressive. Altogether, a guided tour will show you the ornate corners of this house.
