Allas Sea Pool, Helsinki Reviews - Write a Review
Bobbing in the water outdoors and looking at the presidential palace when snow flakes grace your head, I mean, what's there not to love? Allas has fast become a must visit for all that want to experience their inner Finn. A dip in the unheated sea water pool will gain you respect from the locals.
Cool place. The saunas was really nice even though is was a bit crowded that some had to stand since there were no more room to sit. The mixed sauna was closed due to a private event which was a real shame. Wish they could have announced that on their website. A much cheaper alternative to Löyly though. The pools was nice, but a little bit unclear if was made for socialising or swimming since now it seemed to be both. Had to move out of the way several times for swimmers. The cold pool, or sea pool, was very empty at the point of my visit since it was the end of November. But people still dipped themselves only to later run to the sauna. I did it as well. Super cold. A little bit too long to run to the sauna for my experience. Had no sense in my feet. Tried the café as well. It was a little cold in there. Don’t know why. The salmon bagel with cheese was really good but way too expensive...
We went there in the afternoon, very nice for families, prices aren't bad (8€ with a student card, and they accept foreign student cards). There are a couple of pools, nice basic saunas for either men, women or mixed. I wouldn't have a drink there (too expensive) but going there for a couple hours of swimming and sauna is pretty cool, especially if you have to take a ferry with Viking Line, it's right next to it !
Affordable but perfectly equipped. Great sauna and outdoors swimming pool warmed to 27°C to fight back the cold. There is also cold water pool. They offer student discounts
Nice place, great unique experience to jump from a freezing cold ocean pool to a hot pool
