Beautiful building paying homage to some fantastic Finnish artists as well as a few others. Good flow and great works of art.
Great museum, many unknown (to me) artists who have nonetheless created very impressive art. From late romantic Era to late modern art, there's a lot to see.
I loved everything about this museum. It's in a gorgeous building, in a wonderful location, with fantastic facilities, and a really excellent collection, with a focus on Finnish art. Highly recommended.
Gallery of mainly Finnish art, most of which I was new to. Some lovely portraits which I would love to have taken with me. Highly recommended.
Very nice museum in the centre of Helsinki. The building by itself is already worth the visit, as it is beautiful and a perfect fit for the art collection. There are always quite interesting temporary exhibitions, which are supplemented by the beautiful permanent collection. This has been divided in different themes, which guide you through Finland's great art history. A few days a year there is free entrance to the main collection.
