Sea Life Helsinki - Review

Right next to the Linannmaki Amusement park is the Sea-Life Helsinki. Perfect for travelers with families, this wonderful attraction is sure to keep you engaged for hours together. The amazing variety of the creatures of the ocean can all be seen here in this wonderful aquarium theme park.

Seahorses, fish, sharks, you name it and you have it in this place. With such a wide variety of sea creatures it will be difficult to tear the kids’ eyes away from this place. Some of the highlights here are the strange Epaulette Shark, the scary red piranhas, the uniquely blue colored poison dart frog, the silver arowana fish amongst several others.

The interactive rock pool is sure to be the most interesting thing for the little ones. You can touch crabs or sea-urchins and learn a lot more about these sea-faring creatures up close. You can also see shark eggs in the pool. This, along with the many other experiences makes this place a very interesting visit.

  • A beautiful experience! We managed to make it in time for the Manta Ray feeding and the talk during it was very informative. The staff are clearly passionate about their work with the animals there.

  • - Great place for fish lovers. - There is place inside for kids to play with sand and fishes. There is fresh water fishes and salt water also. - sharks also there. You can check all the place in about 1-2 hours. - you can buy sea life beautiful Souvenirs from the store inside.

  • We visited the aquarium with a group of 4 yr olds and everyone had a good time. An undersea tunnel was the highlight with a diverse range of sharks, fish, rays and other sea life. It’s tight for strollers inside but parking is available. There is a discount for members of the Silja ferry line.

  • Really good aquatic zoo. Well done enviroments, animals seems to be well taken care of, good layout and fun events. I just wish there were more of it. A bit of a hassle to get there if you come from the harbour but other then that a well worth it trip on your trip to helsinki.
