Considered as the high altitude national park, Hemis National Park is located on the eastern side of Ladakh of Jammu and Kashmir, in India. It is said to be the capital of snow leopard because its highest density is found in this park. Moreover, it is said to be protected national park, bordered by the great Himalayas in the north and Indus River on the other side.

As far as animals are considered, apart from snow leopard, you get see other animals like marmots, deer, Tibetan fox, Eurasian brown bear and red foxes.
