Hemis National Park, Hemis Reviews
I did chadar Trek on Jan 18 and hence entered north west part of Hemis National park. The place is just out of this world. A combination of brown, light purplish stone mountains with snow clad peaks at the top and Frozen rivers gives you the most scenic views. It's one of coldest places during the winter and temperature falls to minus 20 degrees Celsius. It's home to that rarest of cats, snow leopard. Be respectful to the nature while visiting. Keep the beauty undisturbed and clean.
Wonderful trek...enjoy the lap of nature...if u r lucky u might get to see snow leopard..best time to visit to see the leopards is Feb n march
