Cottage Tea Rooms, Henley Brook Reviews
Always love coming to this place. They have gluten-free scones that taste really good! Nice selection of teas - love the lemongrass and ginger tea. Friendly service, relaxing atmosphere to sit and enjoy.
A lovely place for afternoon tea and you have a magnificent view of the vines nextdoor.A wide selection of tea . I had the flavoured strawberry and champagne black tea...yum is all I have to say. I paired it with a blueberry scone with lemon curd. Lovely!
Very nice place with tasty coffee/tea/dessert. Their hand made scones are really yummy, I enjoy the scones a lot every time with their creamy cream and delicious jam. You can choose outside or inside both areas are full of vintage style decorations.
Lovely little place, scones are amazing, so many varieties. Will be back, had such a nice time. Sat outside.
Worst high tea I have ever been to. There is a "you get what you're given" attitude throughout the whole experience. No flexibility. Was not asked if any veggie/GF required when booking and was not accommodated for upon arrival. 3 finger sandwhiches per person (and not able to choose filling therefore probably only 2 per person) is not adequate for a $35 price tag. Plates were not cleared/refreshed- same cuttlery used throughout. "The best scones in the valley" are the size of a 50c coin... must be the only scone available in the valley. And only being allowed the "tea of the day" is ludicrous. If you can't sample teas at a high tea then when can you?! We had to request for our 2nd and last drink, and the scones, as nobody came back after leaving the measly sandwhiches with us. Very dissapointed with my birthday treat and left hungry.
