We love ZooAmerica! It was included in our Hershey ticket. We went as soon as we entered the park. I recommend doing that because there wasn't any huge crowds since everyone probably does rides first. I actually enjoyed it. Mind you it was just me, I'm 28 and my boyfriend. We have no children and usually going to zoos we get bombarded with kids and cant see any animals. So. This cute little zoo was a nice highlight to my day!
Great place to see. Atmosphere was great. Self guided tour was good. Lots of signs to follow. The in the dark exhibit was pretty cool. This is an enjoyable place to see if you are visit Hershey.
While at Hersey, you should take the short trip right around the corner and check out ZooAmerica. If you have a zoo membership elsewhere, you might even get a half off discount! We stopped here after our tour and had a great time walking around and seeing the animals. We especially loved the bears playing in the water!
One of my favorite places to visit in south central Pennsylvania. Wonderful layout, the animal enclosures constructed to look like the animal's natural habitat. This place is one of those rare places that is both fun and educational.
Great moderately sized zoo. We enjoyed an afternoon here, there were two buildings to walk thru and then a path to follow with numerous outdoor enclosures. We especially enjoyed watching two bears play wrestling in the water, it was the highlight of our trip!
