By Air: Hervey Bay Airport is located 4 kms from Urangan. There are direct flights to Hervey Bay from Sydney operated by Virgin Blue daily and from Brisbane operated by Quantas Link several times a day. There is an airport shuttle bus that will bring you in from the airport and drop you at your accommodation.
By Road: Hervey Bay is easily approachable by road either by car or bus. It is 3.5 to 4 hours drive north of Brisbane. Also Greyhound and Premier both run buses from Brisbane to Hervey Bay several times a day.
By Rail: While there is no direct train to Hervey Bay, Queensland Railways operates trains from Brisbane to Maryborough and conveys passengers onwards to Hervey Bay by coach. This is a popular service so book in advance.

By Bus: There are local bus services that are well connected throughout the city and cater to tourists as well as locals.
By Bike: Hervey Bay is a pleasure to navigate on a bike. There’s an 18 kms long bicycle track along the water that starts from Urangan and going to Point Vernon. The distances to most places in the city are short making it easy to travel on a bicycle.
By Car/Taxi: There is a small fleet of local taxis that are safe and easy to use. Car hire in Hervey Bay is available via major international and local car hire companies. Both can be booked through your hotel.
