  • I've gone there multiple times every year over the past 8 years but it had been a while since I had been so I decided to go. It's changed a lot since I last went. They no longer give you a complimentary bucket of dirt, I used to find a good bit in exploring the creek but this time barely came back with a pocket full. They do have a separate package you can pay for to dig in the raw dirt I might try out in the future

  • It was ok. We'd gotten a box in the mail from them at home for a birthday celebration...actually came in 2 boxes. We understand that the crystals mostly had been planted. They were generous, and it was fun. Visiting the area we stopped in. Buckets for sifting not quite as "seeded." Friendly guys working there, helpful. W more time, energy and less heat we'd have maybe tried the creek. But if you have kids and want a day activity then slicing from buckets provided would definitely be fun.

  • This is the best place to have fun n adventures with ur family. Made me feel like a kid again. They have a great variety of gems n rocks. The staff is awesome and had no problem answering mine n the kids questions. Steven is my favorite on the staff their. He was very attentive to the kids u don't find that often. If for some reason he isn't their ask for Dalton or Angel. I will be going back very often.

  • Outstanding place to get dirty with your family! About an hour and fifteen away from our house and worth every mile. It was an all around great experience for all of us. It was easy enough to find and the fun starts on the gravel road in. This time, we chose to just stay with the sluice, but you can work in the creek, or their digging area too. Everyone was super nice and helpful. Doesn't take long and you're headed down the hill to get started. They have lots of buckets to choose from. While we were there, we went through three of them. The Native and the Super will be our go to buckets. The staff is friendly and will help in any way needed. Ask questions, they're a wealth of information! We found tons of gems for our sons collection. If you find something you really like, they have a lapidary service on site. Can't wait to get back again. I think we're going to hit the creek for a bit next time. I can certainly recommend making the trip! Thanks!

  • The staff are so nice and knowledgeable! They have prices and adventures to meet most every budget, activity level, and time allotment. Great family fun, or just a awesome get away.
