Walking past the city of Kyoto, you will come across a little tea shop called Kasagiya. Have a hot cup of tea and some sweets here and you will fall in love with the local taste. If you are coming here in winter, enjoy a cup of hot tea with azuki-bean, while in summer, it would be great to try Uji-kintoki. This little shop has a rustic setting and is decorated in a typical Japanese style. The description of the sweets is written both in English and Japanese. Do stop here while in Kyoto.
