Sprawling over 114 acres along the narrow gorge in the Pocahontas County, the Falls Of Hills Creek Scenic Area is blessed with 20 feet, 45 feet, and 65 feet cascading waterfalls of which the third one is the highest waterfall in West Virginia. Nestled in the Monongahela National Forest, the Falls Of Hills Creek Scenic Area can be best accessed by hiking along the trail spanning three quarter miles. The first 1,700 feet of the trail is easily accessible as it is paved and is wheelchair accessible. The next part of the trail comprises of boardwalks and stairways, all leading to the lower fall. It will take around an hour to cover the whole trail and may be more as the trail is laden with more than forty wildflower species which will prompt you to take a break and photograph them.
