Driessen Beach Park Reviews & Ratings

  • Our go-to public beach. Good parking, most of it shaded by beautiful trees. The distance to the beach is a good trek, but the boardwalk is enjoyable. Safe area. Picnic gazebo for meals. Playground for the little ones.

  • I normally love this beach, it was really crowded today but still Clean..I do wish they would prohibit smoking on the beach and limit that yo certain areas of the parking lot only because my family and I had a hard time breathing the fresh ocean air due to a chain smoker being adjacent to us..I kept coughing because I'm allergic to cigarette smoke so we left early..its a shame and I wish smokers would respect the fact that the beach is filled with family and especially children who shouldn't have to deal with that.. they need to really start enforcing better rules concerning this

  • This is one of the best beaches on HHI. Ample parking most of the time. Great, clean restrooms / showers. Long-ER walk to the beach than some but worth it.

  • Very clean beach. It has a playground, bathrooms, and outdoor showers. It is half a football field walk along a boardwalk to access the beach. You do have to pay to park. A lot of the parking spots are in shade most of the day. There is a central meter where you can use cash or credit card.

  • It was very nice public beach. Very relaxing. Calm. Not overcrowded. Water was salty and warm. Clean sand.
