Fish Haul Beach Park Reviews & Ratings

  • We personally had an awesome time at this beach. If you want to swim and catch big waves, this is not the beach for you. The water is very shallow unless you go super far out. The sand is beautiful with lots of shells. This beach is clean. We went in the middle of the day and it was practically empty; not a crowded beach. Bathrooms and showers available near parking. If you want to lay in the sand and relax--maybe get your feet wet-- this is the beach for you!

  • Fish Haul beach is my favorite on island. Sea Turtles nest here, it has an amazing high tide and low tide. My kids adore the pluff mud and tide pools. If you walk to the left far far down, there is a mailbox and a desk to write your prayers, hopes and dreams. It's such a beautiful whimsical addition to our island. (Please pick up your litter, cigarette butts, and dog poo bags so we can keep it beautiful!)

  • This is a very chill place to go with the family and not have crashing waves beating on you. The beach is very slow slope so at low tide there is alot of beach to explore. You can walk out into the water seemingly 1/4mi and still be waist deep. Great for lil ones. Only one outdoor freshwater rinse off shower for getting the sand off. Bathroom is well kept and large enough for changing yourself and a few kids. I feel it's a good local spot with few tourist venturing to it, otherwise the restrooms may need to be expanded. Parking is shady and free. Short walk to the beach from the car. There is a short drive on a dirt road to get here but seems well kept too.

  • Definitely more of a local beach which is great since it's my local friends that took me here. Very quiet and clean. There is an out door shower and public bathroom which are clean. Parking is free and the walk to the beach is very short compared to the other beaches. You can fish here and it is pet friendly. There are barely any waves here and you can walk far out. Especially at low tide. Good for shell picking as others have said. Also it is in the flight path for planes as they land at HHI airport. They fly right over the beach. Its loud but awesome to see them so close. Definitely will be going back when I'm in the area again.

  • This is a different type of beach. I enjoy the fact that there are usually fewer people. It's a nice place to fish, and find shark teeth.
