Giac Lam Pagoda is a historic Buddhist pagoda which was built in 1744 and has undergone renovation several times for its upkeep and maintenance. On the entrance you can see a huge statute of bodhisattva Avalokiteshwara under a tall bodhi tree and this tree was brought from Sri Lanka in 1953 to propagate the religion. Giac Lam Pagoda is a multilevel pagoda which is an impressive structure and you will find lots of solace when you come here. The whole place is photogenic and very peaceful where you can sit and spend time in devotion or look around and read the interesting history.
