Loft Cafe, Ho Chi Minh City Reviews

  • Overhyped and expensive, ran out of half the options on the menu, and the pricey drinks are tiny. When we asked for a sandwich without ham, the waiter came back after 20 minutes saying that they can't make it vegetarian - sounds like they don't cook on premises. Waiters also basically seem like they want to get rid of you quickly even though they're basically just busy chatting and on their phones, better choose another place.

  • There’s more than one Loft, there’s another on Pasteur. Good Espresso and Mojito. Food is fresh and staff are very friendly, a good spot to chill.

  • Takes a while to find ; Calm on the second floor away from the bustling streets. Its located on the first floor of an aldehyde French colonial building. Look for a spiral staircase after a hallway (the entrance has paintings for sale lined up on both sides) and walk up the staircase. You should be able to see The Loft signage halfway yup the staircase. Coffee and food is decentish (not spectacular) internet speed is fast. Seems to be a favourite among locals too. 4 star for the historical ambience.

  • Casual coffee shop with a stylish interior in the second floor of an old apartment building. Good place to escape the busy streets. The menu offers a great variety of dishes. I just had a mango lassie which was perfect.

  • I came here under recommendation. Having spent 4 weeks drinking Vietnamese coffee at the roadside during my travels I fancied a good espresso drink but the milk wasn’t at all foamed so the flat white was just espresso and hot milk. The staff were all young and messing about making noise. The waiter who served me seemed to think he was the bees knees. Pretty bad, pretentious place unfortunately. And pricey.
