Hobart is a city for every season, with an average temperature of 21.6°C in the summer 5.2°C in the winter. The best time to see Hobart and experience the inner city and beach life is in the spring and summer seasons (September – February). You could however visit during the winter if you can bear the cold and are looking for cheap bargains in terms of accommodation and tourist rates. Although Hobart has not had serious snowfall for a couple of years, you can expect to see a snow-capped Mt Wellington during the winter.
