Lisbon Falls - Review

Lisbon Falls is the highest waterfall in South Africa with a height of 308 feet from where you will get a pristine view of the sunset and the surrounding areas. It is a beautiful place to enjoy camping at the top of the mountains here. You will love swimming in the shallow water in the summer for sure. The trek route to the Lisbon Falls passes through the deciduous plantation of the Panorama Route. You must be careful while climbing the steep cliffs of the craggy rugged canyon in order to get a pristine view of the natural surroundings of the fall.

  • Highest water fall in mpumalanga! Remember your camera! Highly recommended

  • The sounds of the waterfall extraordinary I must say...if you ever doubted if God exists I mean you can't deny this..👍

  • Beautiful waterfall. You won't need to leave a ton of time for Lisbon Falls, only because there isn't a lot of space to walk around. But the view is definitely worth it with great picture opportunities.

  • If you want to have amazing views, you should definitely take the time to see the falls. Astonishing panoramic view. We loved it.

  • Absolutely beautiful natural waterfall. Costs R10 entrance fee per person, but more than worth it! You can hike down to the waterfall and there are some local arts and crafts for sale yet I found these very commercial and touristy.
