Built in China and assembled in Hoi An, the Cantonese Assembly hall dates back to 1885 and was built by Chinese merchants. Pompous yet tasteful, this hall has a lot to catch your attention. Initially, it was dedicated to Thien Hau Holy mother and later it was in honor of Quang Cong. The hall has a gorgeous entrance gate made of stone and four pillars and decorated with Chinese symbols like dragons, lions and lemon flowers. Inside, look out for the dragon fountain and the Cantonese statues that re spread out all through the hall. There are also perfectly preserved vestiges and documents to browse through.
