Had a late lunch hear for last day in city and we had a traditional noodle dish which was quiete enjoyable nice new flavours well presented and served and explained how it’s traditional finish at your table with lemon and chill if you choose . My partner and I had both options vegan and pork both equally as good . The coffee was really good hear nice full flavour so good blend . Service is friendly and fast and great attitude and attention to detail from staff . Atmosphere was relaxed set on semi quiet street. There is upper and street level dinning available. .
Good food. Great service. Deducting two stars for what occurred after we paid. After finishing our meal we asked for the bill and put in extra money which we intended to give to the waiter who was so friendly and attentive. The manager approached our table to take the money and brought back our change minus the extra money we had put in. When I asked where the rest of our money was he assured me I had only given enough to pay for the meal with no change. I am certain this is not the case as both I and my boyfriend counted the money and we discussed how much extra we would put in as a tip. The manager then approached the till to "double check" for us and was certain we had not given any extra money. He then assured me it doesnt matter anyway as the waiting staff share their tips. This to me seems contradictory and the only conclusion I can come to is that the manager pocketed the change for himself. Very disappointing end to a lovely meal. If you wish to tip your waiter here please hand it to them directly as we don't feel the tip made it's way to the waiting staff.
Love this restaurant. It's a must visit in Hoi An. Great food and you can support their wonderful work training street kids to work in hospitality. Everything about it is excellent. It's the model of an innovative social enterprise and with great food. Prices are good value and kids all speak good English.
The waitress is not trained well. No pictures to choice dishes and Chinese manual is translated by Google, a lot of mistakes. The food is normal, but sauces are very good. Not worth to eat by the price.
Best pancake thing I've had in Vietnam. Fresh veggies, crisp, mmm mmm. A little bit pricier, but you definitely get what you pay for. Portion is just right. Would definitely recommend. Respectful staff, even hailed me down after I forgot something at the restaurant - you don't see that in Vietnam very often, unfortunately.
