Amazing creamy scrambled eggs, and a delicious and familiar macaroni and ham soup (even though I have never had one before). I am a coffee snob, so rating their hot black coffee would be harsh. Service was quick, fast and efficient (no time for niceties). When they seated us, we were given a menu in English, I got the first breakfast set menu and at $38HK, great value.
A really different style of place, but don't be put off by the outside presentation. English menu is available and they are very happy friendly staff. Don't be surprised to have to share your table with someone else in the busy times.... great way to make new friends! The truffle scrambled eggs are great spoil yourself and add the French toast . Great breakfast gets you through the day.
Good food good service. The waiter is friendly and fun. Just abit hard to find of it locations.
Horrid service. When attempting to order the scrambled eggs with truffle, the waiter admonished for not being able to articulate our order. Guess what Mr Waiter? We are not locals and had limited basic knowledge of Cantonese. Thankfully, we could understand enough of his sarcastic remark. Thankfully a local customer helped us out. And when he came to take our order, he asked (in English!!!) "What is your language?!" To make the experience even more awful, the recommend scrambled eggs with truffle dish was over salted. Never again. Beware!!! *Note - Yes we were given an English menu but the waiters said the words were too small for them to read or refused to look at what we were pointing at.
Got the truffled scrambled egg toast to compare with Australian Dairy Co's - the egg was just as good but could hardly taste the truffle, and the toast wasn't toasted well. It was also shockingly expensive - 45hkd for bread and egg
