Dim Dim Sum, Hong Kong Reviews
Outstanding quality dim sum. A huge variety of freshly prepared items. The service was fast, friendly, and efficient. All this food and 2 beers cost less than £25! I really couldn’t fault it at all. The fried items were crisp and not at all greasy. The steamed dim sum was unctuous and piping hot; the soup dumplings were amongst the best I’ve had. Definitely worth a look.
The dim sums were so yummy! Good quality, price is similar to traditional restaurant. The shop was a bit crowded so you will most likely need to line up. The waiting time wasn’t that long for us since people come and go relatively quickly. The only thing I would complain is that the deep fried foods were not hot enough, it’s just barely warm so it’s a bit of a let down. I would stick with steam foods if I go again.
Very small casual dim sum spot with low prices. I didn't feel their variety was good with only limited seafood choices without meat. They do have some vegetarian options. Usually a line to enter but since they have you share tables not that long.
Superb selection of Dim Sum and accompaniments. Stopped myself ordering everything on the basis that I can always order more..... or come back tomorrow. The black truffle didn’t really show, but was hugely flavoursome. A good selection of beers too.
Surprisingly cheap and delicious dim sum for a central location. Service was as good as hongkong service standards can get. I was even afraid we would be scolded for shifting tables when our party became bigger but to my surprise, no foul faces or sentences. Just told us we could take a bigger table. Maybe cause it was not peak hour. Cheap and good! I can't comment on other outlets since we only visited the Tin Lok lane outlet.
