Hong Kong Park - Review

Covering nearly 8 hectares of land, this park is an ideal example of a fine blend of natural landscapes and modern architectural design. Inside the park, visitors will find attractions like a greenhouse, an aviary with tropical rainforest set up, the Flagstaff House Museum of Teaware, the Hong Kong Visual Arts Centre aside of beautiful lily ponds, playgrounds, fountains and restaurants. The highlighted feature of the park is the meandering water body that has been made in a way so as to link it with other features like streams, ponds, cliffs, waterfalls and artificial rocks.

Don’t forget to take few snaps in this beautiful park.

Hong Kong Park, Hong Kong Reviews

  • Many cities in the world have parks in the city, but rarely like Hong Kong Park, so close to the skyscrapers as you can reach: a large piece of trees behind a uniquely designed building, on the lake The reflection is the high-rise steel building under the blue sky, the sparkling light under the waterfall and the sunlight reflected by the glass curtain. In it, you can still feel the vitality of the city in the quiet green space. Walking in this urban oasis, listening to birds and trees, is enough to enjoy; but it is not only that. There are many different facilities in the park for you to enjoy. On Wednesday morning, you can come to the artificial lake in Hong Kong Park and sign up for a free bird watching event organized by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department and the Hong Kong Bird Watching Club to experience the natural atmosphere of the city.

  • Hong Kong park is situated near Central and adjacent to the Peak Tram. The park is well maintained and has some interesting features such as the waterfall and aviary. However the aviary us closed until February 2019. If you have children the children's playground will keep the children happy. It's a welcome respite to hustle and bustle of Hong Kong an oasis in a concrete jungle.

  • It is not the biggest of parks, but for an island as densely populated as Hong Kong island, it is huge. I admit that I was much more impressed the first time I accidentally found the park, but even the second time was a pleasant and tranquil experience. My favourite things about the park is the ability to get photographs of water with interesting buildings in the background, getting photographs of terrapins baking in the sun and best of all, slowly making my way through the aviary where I can see birds up close that I may never see in the wild.

  • The absolute perfect place right next to the Peak Tram. Perfect to visit in one go. There are no kiosks or stands in the park itself. There is a great children's playground there. I loved this park. It is like having a jungle in the middle of the business district. I am amazed how beautiful and clean everything was. Aviary is a must see also the lake is great.

  • Great place to go for a relaxing lunchtime stroll, or pass a few hours and catch up with nature. The large aviary is probably the best part of the park as you walk around at tree top level to enjoy the bird life. Plenty of quiet areas to contemplate life, and escape the hectic Central streets. The best Public Toilet in Hong Kong is tucked away behind the Hot House above the lake. How a World City can have such appalling public toilets is beyond me, but this toilet beats all the high end malls for cleanliness!!
