Hotel Icon, Hong Kong Reviews
Excellent mid upper range hotel. The service is amazing. The minibar is completely free and replenished every day. The hotel is affiliated with the local university's tourism program so it is staffed by interns, students, and their preceptors therefore the service is impeccable. I lost the hotels umbrella and they told me it was no big deal and waived the fee for me. Minor negatives: The bathroom design is kinda dumb the shower water splashes everywhere. The sink design is also dumb and water splashes everywhere.
Great hotel with fantastic service and all round quality experience. Managed a cheap upgrade to Club level (via blind bid option) with access to top level bar - can highly recommend. Views were amazing, food quality excellent, and again the very friendly service topped off a very pleasurable 4 nights stay.
Amazing service. All staff are very kind and well mannered. The hotel is not too big, which is good as it’s quiet and not crowded. I stayed at another 5 star hotel on the other night but this hotel was way better. I would definately recommend this hotel to others.
My friend was hosting a wedding ceremony there. Room looks clean and luxurious. Location is fab. Food was good. Staff can be more welcoming but overall very good
As a traveller all over the world I have visited many upscale hotels : W's, Four seasons', Hyatt's, Amstel, boutique hotels. All of them I enjoyed their quality stay and services, but never matched the impeccable service and details as the Icon. Best rooms, breakfast, personal attention and dedication to clients and eye for details. No charge for mini bar, no problem for late checkout, using fitness club, swimming pool and high tea. Special thanks to George from the market and Xavier and his bartenders from Above&Beyond, all other staffers: you were brilliant!
