The Ritz-carlton, Hong Kong, Hong Kong Reviews

  • This hotel is absolutely stunning. Amazing design, service, food & drinks. They have an excellent selection of restaurants. Service is absolutely top notch. Views are the best in Hong Kong. The Ozone is great for late night drinks. The spa is exceptional.

  • We had the salad bar at the 103rd floor restaurant. The view of Hong Kong island is spectacular and well worth the visit. The staff was welcoming, friendly and professional. The salad bar was very good. The ingredients were all high quality and fresh. You collect your ingredients in a glass bowl, hand to the kitchen staff and they mix for you. The dressings all looked good but surprisingly they did not have blue cheese.

  • Very expensive high tea. But we were there for the breathtaking views. Even the washroom has a view. Wonderful wait staff, very helpful; even shifted us to a better seat when available. Will come again. Perhaps for lunch instead.

  • Big, comfy beds with luxurious linens. Showers are spacious; water pressure is terrific. Harbor views are unparalleled. Breakfast spread is varied and delicious. Superb service: housekeeping is invisible (we never saw them) and never missed a day, even when we were jet lagged and in the room at odd hours; concierge went out of their way to make a birthday extra special. Ubers are cheap so off-the-beaten-path location is easily mitigated.

  • Oh my ACTUAL WORD. Possibly one of the great experiences of my life. If I die tomorrow I will die with my shoes on- a happy man, bucket list irrelevant, etc etc. Because I had brunch at the Ritz Carlton. Outstanding. First the food- fantastic. Beautifully cooked, whatever you want. Eggs, pancakes, whatever breakfast items you fancy. Ignore the breakfast though- prawns (probably the best I’ve had), lobster (grilled and cold, both excellent), beef (cooked perfectly), rack of lamb (cooked perfectly), caviar (CAVIAR!). The view- 103rd floor. The only time I’ve struggled between wanting more food and just hanging around in the lavatory so that I could look out of the window. The view is truly exceptional. Unlimited 2009 Dom Perignon. A beautiful wine. We were in the private room and we’re treated like kings. Roch was a fantastic waiter and you’ll be lucky if you get to spend time with him. Tip him well. At £150 + S it’s not cheap. But it’s certainly worth every penny. I’ve never enjoyed a brunch to the extent I enjoyed this one. Wonderful.
