If your idea of the perfect holiday involves the holy trinity of the sun, the sand and the sea then this is absolutely the perfect destination for you. The 76 Acre Park is the perfect way to unwind and soak in the sun.
The Beach is surrounded by reef which makes the water tranquil and still. You can buy a beach mat and just soak in the sun and take in the atmosphere. There are plenty of benches, picnic tables, if you want to pack a picnic and enjoy it while watching the water.
Although there are several beaches in and around Honolulu, if you want to play in the water and laze around in the sand it is the perfect place. The still water makes it ideal for swimming. The concession stands, barbeque areas, as well as artificial grassy areas make it the favored picnic spot for the locals.

Such a beautiful park. Lots of paved paths for walking, running, roller blading, skateboarding and biking. The beach is large and there are several events held here. The 4th of July fireworks and the Lantern festival are two of my favorite events held here.
