Wow! I really enjoyed my experience here. First and foremost, the breakfast wrap I had (Portuguese sausage with guacamole +$0.75) was so delicious and flavorful -- I was savoring every bite. I split the order with my aunt and we were both very full! That said, we do think the waffle was overhyped and my sister just liked hers. Next, I really like the atmosphere because it was a lot more low-key than the touristy areas. It's a little strip mall and the place was clean and casual. Finally, our server was kind and helpful with suggestions. I would return here if I'm in the area again. I heard that there can be a wait sometimes, but we arrived around 9:30A on a weekday and were seated promptly.
This is my favorite breakfast joint on the island, easily. I've been here for breakfast and lunch and everything tastes great. All of their accolades are a testimony to how awesome they are. There is always a wait in the earlier morning so you can anticipate that but it is well worth it. I suggest the traditional Eggs Benedict or the malt waffle with all the fruit toppings! In addition, all the employees are fantastic!
One of my favorite breakfast places. Apparently for many other people as well. Although they've remodeled and now accept credit cards, this place still always has a wait. But it's well worth the wait. You can also order takeout. They have several breakfast options ranging from pancakes to omelettes and waffles. They also do have lunch, which after all these years I have still not tried. They even used to have dinner service on some nights. I'll always remember that shepherds pie fondly. The food and customer service here is great. Always check their specials, although their regular menu is awesome as well. My personal favorites are still their special weekend Benedicts with roasted potatoes and of course their Belgian malted waffle that you can add on fresh fruit. The waffle is as beautiful as it tastes. Although they serve lunch, breakfast is just too good. One day I'll try lunch hopefully. ******** Wake up for breakfast Belgian waffles topped with fruit are my favorite
Service was excellent, staff xery friendly, and the food was served hot. We're definitely coming back soon
Always a great place for brunch. I love their waffles and eggs Benedict. Staff is friendly and the food comes out quickly.
