Fort DeRussy Beach Park is loved for its not so crowded area and even though it is not as popular as the Waikiki beach, it does have many activities for visitors. The place has a number of shops located conveniently along the beach.
The blue waters invite one and all while the warm sand is the perfect place to get that tan you always wanted! The beach is dog friendly and is conveniently located close to the famous Hilton Hawaiian Village.

Fort DeRussy Beach Park, Honolulu Reviews - Write a Review
The beach is quieter than Waikiki, which in my opinion is a huge plus. Also, for people with strollers (like us) it's great to have a boardwalk to stroll with baby, especially during sunset. There are a few restaurants along the boardwalk. Also great people watching! Beach volleyball, racket ball, etc. These are 4 sunsets on different days, and different parts of the beach.
Fun place, but they shut the bathrooms down to early on the beach. Otherwise, great place to have a mai tai and watch fireworks! Beautiful Park as well!
I had a great time in Hawaii this beach was beautiful the water was clear the waves are nice can't wait to go back to Hawaii.
Beautiful park. Great grass. Just walking through to get to the beach.
Nice, clean park on the beach. Good place to seek some shade on a sunny day!
