Pretty unique beach full of rocks and cliffs. There is a quite big car park to stop your car without any problems and a quite steep path to go from the car parking to the beach. In my opinion, it's definitely dangerous to swim there but I recommend going there and enjoying the scenery anyway.
I wish I had come in the morning to see the sunrise and avoid the loud tourist but still a very historical film site. It would have been fun to reenact the movie as I'm sure it's never been done before. LOL
Just got back last week from 2 weeks on Oahu. The cove is my new favorite!! This beach is so much fun. The hike down isn't really that bad. I'm 52 and out of shape and I did it no problem. The swimming and waves were awesome! Just be careful of surrounding rocks when you get pushed back by the waves. I highly recommend this beach!
It's definitely a journey getting to the actual "cove" but worth the experience.
Loved playing here
