The Japanese Cultural Center of Hawaii sheds light on the struggles and success stories of the Japanese immigrants who came to the Hawaiian Islands. The Historic exhibits, Museum and the Tea House, offer Japanese culture and tradition in the most creative way and tell the story of how the small immigrant population grew and made US their own.

The Seikoan Teahouse relives the Japanese tradition of tea ceremony. The Urasenke Foundation of Hawai'i and Omotesenke Hawaii Shibu arranges special classes for public to learn about the intricacy of the ceremony and its significance in Japanese culture.

The Gift shop is the perfect way to bid adieu to the place as you shop for Japanese artefacts including Geisha statues, beautiful porcelain plates, Bonsai plants and Koi-fish decor items.
