About Kahala Mall, Honolulu
The Kahala Mall Shopping Center opened in the 1950’s and since then has been the store outlet for many well known businesses. The first ever F.W. Woolworth Company dime store in Hawaii was once a part of this mall.
Currently, the center is a one-stop shop for brands like Whole Foods Market, Claire's, Banana Republic, Macy's, Ross Dress for Less, Starbucks, Jamba Juice and Radio Shack among other big names.
Fun fact! Late actor Jack Lord used to come here for morning walks and as a tribute, the mall has a bronze bust of him kept near the entrance.

Kahala Mall, Honolulu Reviews - Write a Review
Actually shopping at Whole Foods this day, although we do shop at Macy's here. This mall is pretty convenient and definite not as crowded as Ala Moana Center. It's small but quaint. Parking on the first floor can be hectic depending on the time of day.
Lover the outdoor seating at Whole Foods. You can buy your meal and beverage inside, them bring it out and enjoy! They have an awesome deli besides all the groceries. Lovely pastries and coffee, too.
Best mall on the island for local families. Small and mostly indoor, air conditioned, secure, with great boutique shops, foods selection, professional services and super family friendly. Parking can get crowded on major events but there is enough.
Always clean and friendly faces. This indoor mall is a great place to walk around and get out of the heat. We always visit whole foods and Ross upstairs. Easy to find and great shopping.
A great mall with a real good staple, Whole Foods! The mall has adequate parking with plenty of space on the elevated structure. Lots of great stores and a real nice layout. You could kill a whole afternoon here, and be sure to check out the various tasty treats, Acai bowls at Whole Foods, Banan Bowl, ice cream, and lots of good food joints.
