Kaimana Beach in the Waikiki region is meant for those of you who love the beach and the sun but do not necessarily love the crowds and all the activities. This clean and serene beach is perfect for families and anyone who just wants to spend a quiet time at the beach.
The quaint little beach is the site of frequent yummy barbeques in the greener areas and has a very relaxed and laid back sort of a feel to it. Imagine it, the calming ocean, the sunny beach and the sizzle of the barbeque, what could possibly make it more perfect? A tall mug of beer perhaps?
It is relatively more crowded on weekends but weekdays make it the perfect place to hang out. The beach is the perfect place to kick back and relax in Honolulu and hence a site worth visiting after a long day of sightseeing.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around... New Otani is a great quiet hotel off the main strip. Rooms are small but fine for an adventurous couple who will be out and about during the day. Here for our honeymoon - having so much fun! ♥️ Thank you, Otani!

Celebrated birthday by having an all-day BBQ at Kaimana Beach and instead of staying sober for the drive home, BF and I decided to get a hotel room. As a local, would I recommend staying at this hotel?? Yes...but only if a bed, walls, roof and cool AC are all you need then the basic, low-end room serves it's purpose. Here is what I'll remember of my stay: -crumpled dirty paper towel on the bathroom floor when we walked in -a sink that did not drain properly -queen bed is 2 twins held together with a fitted sheet -outdated materials in room noting a vending machine on the 8th floor...it's actually on the 9th (I needed a midnight snack!) For visitors who have a little money to spare, I recommend: -booking a room with an ocean view -spending lots of time at Kaimana Beach and Kapiolani Park, which is the best reason to stay here
Great hotel, right on the beach. Only bad point is there's no pool since you're right on the beach. Plus, don't be fooled by the name the hotel is not new. Service was amazing though and the valet is indispensable.
It was nice and pleasant. I ate too much and drank too much wine. The service was good. I rate this place 4 stars because it was good but pricey. Nice view to see the sunset .
