Spread across 26 acres of land, the Moanalua Gardens Park is popular for the preservation of the magnificent Hitachi, Mokeypod and Bodhi trees.

Take shade under these beautiful trees and absorb the beautiful view all around as you relax and enjoy the simpler things in life. The Koi pond where you can feed the fishes and ducks is the perfect addition to the park.

If you are in the mood for a picnic, pack your lunch and enjoy it under the kind shade of the trees or simply take a walk around the park and soak up the sun.

Moanalua Gardens, Honolulu Reviews - Write a Review

  • Very bad service. That lady Bridgette That handles parties, shouldn’t be in the “position” she’s in if she’s gets “frustrated” fast and can’t deal with her customers the right way! Make sure y’all get every information and make sure it’s correct. My sons first birthday party is in December and only now October she tells me that I need a event coordinator which she dosen’t know the difference between an “event coordinator” and a “event planner” what “professional” person yells at their customer on the phone because she’s “frustrated” and have been dealing with me for 3 months! Um women isn’t that your “job?” Isn’t it your job to work with “customers” who inquier about your party area?! i was all for having his party there but not after the other day!! She can go on with her rude frustrated self! Now I know why you have bad reviews!! You vented to us about your bad review and made like it was the persons fault! You even vented to us about your general manager!! Such a professional person! You have a good one.

  • If you are looking to have your party here, I would rethink that! Bridgette is completely unprofessional! When we first went to see the venue everything seemed like it was gonna run smooth, then 2 months prior to our event she stopped returning phone calls and responding and gave us ridiculous run around that we're never mentioned prior. She became so overwhelmed that she even yelled at her client! It was an extremely frustrating and unprofessional experience! The general manager even stepped in and did absolutely nothing about the situation! Horrible customer service from Bridgette to upper management who apparently didn't care about their customers! Now 2 months before our event we have to find another would rather do that then have to deal with such service!

  • Beautiful place. I hadn't been here for a long time but was in the area and wanted to check it out. Disappointed to see that they charge an entry fee now. It's just a park.. Don't know why they charge an entry fee.

  • Very nice place. Easy to get to by car. By bus or foot I would say try somewhere else unless you know your way around there VERY well. If you want to learn some history about that area there are plenty old timers willing and ready to talk story; for that alone its worth the trip.

  • Great park for walking amd sitting under trees to read books. Also famous for a tree that looks like the Hitachi company symbol.
