This sugar museum was great. We went just 30 minutes before they closed but went on a short coffee and chocolate tour of the entire chocolate/ coffee making process. We did coffee, chocolate, and hot sauce tastings and had the option to do a spice tasting as well but didn't want to stay past closing time to be courteous to the workers who would likely love to be off on time. I loved 7 of the 10 hot sauces and will be ordering them when I get home because they ship orders via online orders. Couldn't bring it on the airplane because I never check bags. This place is worth a visit, they have everything from souvenirs to ice cream, food, art, clothing, soaps/body lotions, coffee, kitchen utensils, etc. I loved this store and will come back every time I'm on the north shore.
I loved this place! It's a one stop shop for people to get anything they want while in Hawaii. They people were extremely friendly and the tour was pretty informative with free samples. I bought some cool souvenirs and coffee but unfortunately one coffee mug didn't survive.
Really cool place with unique gifts you won't find in all the regular tourist shops on the island. But let's talk about the coffee and chocolate. Oh yeah. It's the good stuff. The staff were super helpful and friendly and took us on a very short tour teaching us about the chocolate frosting harvesting and processing procedures, giving out lots of samples along the way. You can also sample 4 different coffees and there is a full coffee/smoothie/shave ice bar inside. Very cool place if you want to find unique gifts and great coffee and chocolates. I bought a hat!
Had a nice experience with a tour of the coffee making process and chocolate. The prices seemed a bit high but expected for a tourist area.
Great coffee from the North Shore! Make sure to get the mini tour to get a feel for how they get coffee and chocolate from tree to store. Very informal and informative! Enjoyed meeting and talking to the friendly staff while picking out my coffee.
