Waikiki Wall - Review
The Kapahulu Groin is a walk-way that extends into the Pacific Ocean and separates the Kuhio, Queen’s Surf and Waikiki Beach. The wall was built as part of the Waikiki Beach improvement project on the spot where the Kuekaunahi Stream joined the ocean, crossing the Kapahulu Boulevard which was earlier a swamp area.
Take a walk here to enjoy the view of the coast, the beaches and see the gorgeous sunset!

Waikiki Wall, Honolulu Reviews
Fun place to sit and watch, or hang out when there is waves and get splashed.
Perfect for kids, the depth of the walled beach area is just right for non swimmers. On the other side are surfing area. Nice viee of Waikiki.
The beach here is great for young kids. The wall blocks the waves so the water is nice and calm. It is also warmer since the water is quite shallow. The water goes up to your knees or upper thigh at the highest.
Extremely relaxing. Shallow water and protected from the waves.
I love this wall! So good to see my 5 year old step into the ocean and enjoy it! Calm and safe.
