Another popular attraction in Hot Springs, the petting zoo is a nice place to visit for it contains a wide variety of animals such as alligators, deer, ponies, goats, lions, ostriches and many more. What distinguishes this little wildlife park than others is the way the zoo functions. The place has been devised and maintained to provide a friendly and comfortable environment to both animals and visitors. People can hold baby alligators and feed them on meat sticks. There are live alligator feeding shows arranged for visitors along with a displayed merman , mini museum, and a nice souvenir shop. Arkansas Alligator Farm & Petting Zoo Reviews & Ratings
The place is small and I was expecting it. It wasn't expensive and seeing the baby gators was so fun. Holding one even better. For a small fee you can feed them which is great if you have kids. The staff was excellent and informative.
Fun stop with the family! They have different animals for petting and the biggest alligator snappers I've ever seen! Feeding the alligators was fun for the kids and it's inside which helps to get away from the heat a little. Go when its hottest and get there before 1130 so you have time to get a good spot to watch the feeding at noon!
This place was really awesome! Super friendly staff and an overall great experience. I highly recommended going, especially if you have kids. The feed the Gators on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday's at noon. Try and plan your trip around those times. Also the kids can feed the baby gators for $5!
We absolutely love this place! Great people and awesome experience! A little pricey to feed 2 pieces of meat to baby gators, but super awesome they let you hold one for free! Go see their petting zoo! Tortoises & goats are adorable!
We really enjoyed our visit. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about all of the animals. Grounds were clean and the animals looked well cared for. I would definitely recommend a visit.
